I feel trapped, and I’ve been struggling to get out for too long, my muscles screaming, begging me to stop. I weaken even though I know I’m almost free, something, something evil stops me. The light I was working toward fades, and the evil overcomes me, swallowing me and turning me into something ordinary, something I’m not meant to be, something that’s made in evil, something unnatural, not unique. My very existence is gone and I sit, staring through the walls of the dull cage I’m trapped in, waiting, wishing something will free me from this endless torment. Help doesn’t come, I lose hope. My soul fades to dust trapped within my earthly body. I cannot be saved now. I’ve given up, but that driving force still gathers, still believing there is some hope left. It bursts and I free myself of my cage, ripping open the weakened bars, bursting into the light that sets me free, free to roam the world. Free to live.
